To all girls who have gotten acrylic nails

I got my nails done on August 6th (this wednesday) because i'm going on vacation. I got acrylics done for the first time and I love them but i'm hoping that they will stay and not grow out for my vacation. I leave this tuesday (August 12th) and I get home August 25th. Do you think they will grow out and look bad by then?





Any girls who get acrylics, whats some advice. And should I fill them when I get back?To all girls who have gotten acrylic nails
Depending on the growth of your nails will be how fresh they will look. I would definitely suggest that you wait 2-3 weeks for a fill, but if you have to have them look fresh a week old, you can go to most nail places for about $10 and have them do a touch up not fill. what they do is file the lifting if any any and smooth it out so they look like they are still smooth with your nail bed. I do this when i have something nice in between appts.

Well mine usually grew out in like 2-3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend keeping them though, after you get them off it will make your real nails look horrible. Acrylic nails make your real nails weak and dented in. I think you will be alright for your vacation though and if they start to grow out it won't be really noticeable. Have fun!
They say to get fill-ins every two weeks, but I always used to wait until 3 weeks to get them filled and they looked okay. However, the longer they go without being filled the easier it is to get them off, so if you have a tendency to bite your nails or mess with them, be careful

I had those nails before and will never have them again. I one time smashed my finger in a door and it broke the nail right down to my cuticle oh it hurt so so bad.

Your nails will definitely grow. It is best to get your nails done the day before you go on vacay. You will probably have to get them filled on your vacation if you want them to look good the whole time.
You'll start to see the new growth on or around the 18th or so. By the time you get back on the 25th it will be time to get them done. You want to do acrylic every 2 weeks to keep them looking nice.
no it wont if you try not to hit stuff with the nail and you know work hard on the nails they will eb there for a while and not grow out and look uly it will be fine.
i have gotten my nail done before too. they lasted me about a month and a half or something around then and the only grew out a little bit. so you should be fine for you vacation. :) have fun!
No, your real nails shouldn't grow out that much, depending on how long the fake nails are. But let me tell you, by the end of your trip you will be ready to rip those suckers off!!!
You should have waited a lil longer to get them done but im sure they should be fine and last thru out ur vacantion. You would probably need a fill when u get back.
I think they should hold up nicely. It all really depends on where you got them done. They really should last until you get back and when you do get back....GET 'EM DONE.
