i'm planning on painting a black car... this is going to be a Xmas gift. The car will contain a lot of grays due to the lighting and shine. What colour would be nice as a background without looking amateur? I could do the insignia on a solid colour background or a colour fading to another colour. Any suggestions? Or is the black car on a white background with the shadow at the bottom the most effective?

Why not lemon yellow! More festive and would make your car stand out.Acrylic painting of a black car..background?
I would leave it white...more dramatic and will fit in with any colour scheme in any room...Good Luck!
Earth colors would be perfect!
