Heat set Acrylic Paint on t shirt?

putting stenciled words on a cotton t shirt.. how do I heat set the paint on to the t shirt to make it permanent?Heat set Acrylic Paint on t shirt?
Put a towel over the ink, and then take an iron,and, iron it.
