Honestly I think those are a little dated, they were big about 5 years ago but right now if you notice all the stars are wearing their nails natural without acrylic overlay or tips. And this season, short and dark is in! Very chic.

as long as they are not too long or some ugly color,

on the other hand, a nice color, or a french looks nice,


and usually is better than bitten down nails or hand painted [the color always is chipping]

Why will it be gross? I just got mine done today (solar) and they look very natural. Now if you were to get like a 2in red long nails, then that's a diff story!
just to let you know white tips doesn't equal acrylic nails. people with real nails can get them done with the white tips as well. Its called a french manicure!
most guys don't care about nails...???
