Can children wear acrylic nails?

iam getting my nails done tommorow and iam scared that it will ruin my natural nails and i just want to really know can children wear acrylic nails? Can children wear acrylic nails?
Well by children do you mean young child or teen?

Teens can wear them, I wouldn't put them on little kids though.

I don't like them much myself, but that's beside the point, lol. But yes a young teen can wear them, just be sure you get them done at a reputable place, a clean facility that uses sanitized products for each customer. Sharing nail products is just as unhealthy as sharing a used snot wrag...yuck, lol.Can children wear acrylic nails?
YES i meanwhts the big deal i'm 11 and i use broadway nails they last for 10 day but i only were them once and a while which doesnt do to much damage so go forit just dunt like keep on putting them on and off and dunt use to much glue:)just get BROADWAYNAILS there the best!!!:) good luck gurll;)

They are ugly. And cess pools of germs thrive in those things. I wouldn't do it.
as a nail tech i can tell you yes it will harm your real nails. no one should be waring them. i refused to do any one under the age of 18. some parents do not know or realive how bad and how much harm fake nails can do to a child. children tend to be more rougher on there nails then adults and it very easy to get an infection under these nails. it is very painful and can cost a lot of many and many trips to the doctor to cure. im telling you this is not a good idea. i have seen this happen many times.
No way. What a dumb idea.
yes of course they can if they want and you let them. it's preferable not to wear they a lot or they'll damage their nails.
Um, darling, are you a child? If so, hold off on the acrylic nails.
yes, as long as you dont already have very weak or damaged nails you should be fine. if its your first time i suggest short ones, good luck!
they can but why would you want too. If you dont plan on keeping them up and are only doing this for a special occasion I would just use press on's. Because once you have the acrylic removed your real nails will take a while to be normal and not so brittle
i spose so, but it wouldent be recommended
I would think so, but I am a man, how should I know?
acrylic nails can mess up your real nails.... try the jelly nails...they don't hurt your natural nail as bad... they cost a little more but your real nails will be healthier :)
They can, but they shouldn't. Children have more of a tendency to chew or suck on their fingernails, which means that they're taking in all the acrylic and glue that is on their nails. Acrylic nails also thin out your natural nails, which makes it all the more painful when removing them or if you bump them or break one. I have had too many painful experiences with acrylic nails, and I really resent them. Your nail beds are SO sensitive after you take them off. It's really dreadful. =(
yes you can you don't have to worry yes it will hurt them for a little while but it goes away.
No! It ruins your nails. I suggest just getting the Childrens stick on nails at Wal Mart. They look cute and don't ruin ur nails. The ones that r the best come in a pink package with a girl on it and they say mother approved.
I believe that they CAN wear nails, but I would not reccomend it. If the child wanted to get their nails done I would just get their natural nails airbrushed....CUTE and NOT HARMFUL!
they do it in venezuela, i don't see why not here especially if you are paying for it, I don't suggest it but...
Kids ';can'; wear them. But they do cause damage to your natural nails. The nails are suppose to breath, and if they are covered with acrylic they can't do that. If you let them grow off completely your nails will be OK. But if you keep having them filled in, and continue to wear them, it will weaken the nail bed underneath. I had a friend who insisted on wearing them all the time. She developed a fungus under her nails but kept wearing them anyway. She finally had to have all her nails SURGICALLY removed so they could heal. I would advise against it except for special occasions. My nails are natural, and they are long and strong. I keep them manicured and I use hardeners. If I have a break or something I might get an acrylic nail until it's grown out.
Heck yea.. im 12 and got wear acrylic nails sometimes.... it ruins your nails though....
No it is dangerous
children can wear them, but yes they do ruin your nails. It took my nails about three months to completely grow out and get back to normal.
no ..it bad for their nails, and they will look weird.
Yes but you'll ruin your nails.
acrylic nails ruin anyone's nails. that's just what happens.

and why would a child want acrylic nails? how old of a child are you talking?
well idk but they do have these nails at like walmart wallgreens and target that have like a sticky gel on the back .. anyway they arent as good as the glue ones but they r better for your nails and they dont last as long ... GOOD LUCK HOPE I HELPED
I agree with nedad, long nails are germy-hideouts.

i doupt it will ruin your natural nails, but the question is, do acrylic nails really look that great on children...and they hurt like hell if they break off cos sometimes they tear your real nails with them....very painful!
Yes you can get acrylic nails. Just make sure you get the right stuff to get them off. ; )
No. Get the Lee press on nails .
They can if they are willing to commit to the upkeep and the expense. You may be better off going for a regular manicure, or even 2 for the same expense. A professional manicure can make even the most tired looking hands look pretty.
no i mean i get my nails done all the time n ive never had a problem. so dont be scared it might hurt a litttle when they come off but not a lot
how old are you? i think about maybe if your like 12 or 13 yrs old its ok to go for it just to know that dont do it ever so often once you had it done two weeks is max for you to keep and then maybe it will be a good idea if you dont do it and let your natural nail to breath again, and leave it for like a month or so then you can have done one more time, and be sure when you do acrylic dont dotoo dramatic, done it to match your age and you personality
yes its perfectly fine as long as their arent too long.
