Is there anything I can do to get it back to normal? I really don't want to throw it out.My tube of acrylic paint is rock hard!? help?
Sorry it's gone! Acrylics are a polymer plastic and once it dries that's it! There is no solvent for dried acrylics, they say mineral spirits and such but uh-uh.... once it's dry you have to peel it off to get rid of it or just paint over it. So it is with your tube of paint. It's dry, so you have to go and replace it. You cannot dissolve it now and I don't care what anyone says, you cannot dissolve it.My tube of acrylic paint is rock hard!? help?
If it really is rock hard, its a goner.
Yep.Bin IT.It's Useless
Well it would be really hard. But I would try miking it with the plastic end of the brush. But other then that throw it out...srry
Rub it/massage it/shake it.
OR
Run warm water over it while gently squeezing.
Both of those usually work for me! =)
Good luck!
If it is completely solid all the way through, you can't save it, it essentially turns into plastic when it dries.
