Does anyone know how to do their own acrylic nails and how can I learn!!?

China-men cost too much, but do a great job!!Does anyone know how to do their own acrylic nails and how can I learn!!?
Might get some negative feedback for saying ';china-men';....thought i'd let ya know.





Anyway, it's not too hard, but it takes practice, don't expect to get it right the first time.





If you want to learn to do your own acrylic nails, I suggest going to your local Sally Beauty, or other beauty supply store and picking up a kit. Sometimes walmart has them too by the ';nailene'; brand. There are kits in different sizes and types, but I would sugest just getting a basic starter kit. It will contain nail tips in different sizes, glue, acrylic powder, maybe in different colors, primer, acrylic liquid, a small dish for the liquid, a brush, a file/buffer, etc etc. They also come with step by step directions. Just follow them and practice!! You're going to clean and prime your nails. Glue the tips on each of your nails lining them up with the tips of your own nails, and cutting/filing to your liking. then you'll use the brush to get some acrylic liquid on the brush, and then dip it in the powder to form a small ball of acrylic solution. Then you'll place that ball on your nail, and smooth it out over your natural nail and the fake tip untill it's smooth and blended. Thats basically it, then you just decorate as desired. Have fun!!








And just a tip, make sure to work in a nice breathable area, or use a mask to avoid inhaling the fumes!!Does anyone know how to do their own acrylic nails and how can I learn!!?
well i go to Sally's and buy a kit full of acrylic nail stuff and on the back of the kit it will teach or it will give u a 7minute dvd u can watch to learn....but i only do my own nails cuz ur right china-men do a good job but they are expensive
Haha to china-men! Bet yeah... what the girl above me said. I don't do my own but I would love to because I'm broke!
